As a consultancy company who is looking to support you on your journey in Environmental matters, we feel that we need to lead by example. Therefore, we have partnered with Tree-Nation to plant a tree in your name for every new job which we take on. So the more you use us, the more trees you will plant.
Why trees?
Trees are key pillars of the world for both humans and the environment. They benefit us by purifying water, air and creating better social conditions. They benefit the environment by providing homes for various forms of life and improving our soil. They are great carbon sinks for removing the CO2 from the atmosphere and reduce climate change. They can help to regulate the temperature of the planet through transpiration cooling.
Trees and forests are referred to as the "lungs of the planet" as they generate oxygen for us to breath.
Who are Tree-nation?
Tree-nation was founded in 2006 and have become internationally recognised. They became an official partner of the UNEP in 2007. You can read their story here.
Why partner with Tree-nation
We wish to help the planet recover and support the world's commitment to limit the global temperature rise to no more than 1.5°C by 2100. We also wished to help the local population around where the trees are planted. We looked around for a partner who had the contacts to plant the trees and take the hassle out of what we wish to do. Tree-nation fitted this perfectly.
Compliance of the projects
Tree-nation work with VCS, Gold Standard and Plan Vivo regarding the certification of CO2 capture and provide traceability for each project and tree planted. Therefore, you can be assured that these are verified projects and we are doing what we say we will do.
